Their art work is challenging and the reactions of the public is the importance of the work and to them, what makes their hard work worth while.
The Chapman brothers distort manikins and test different ways of defacing them to create a visual of either war, terror, torture, violence.
Like most artists they are being creative and thought provoking but I cant help to think where their ideas for their display of work comes from. i find it all rather unnerving and wrong.
